Mag. Jakob Hütthaler-Brandauer built our team at lawpoint and is a recognised expert in Life Sciences & Health Care. He was introduced to the field of life sciences practically from childhood through his mother, the firm’s founder, Dr. Ruth Hütthaler-Brandauer. Over the years, he has passed on this deep-rooted knowledge and shaped a specialised team with which he now covers a broad range of practice areas at lawpoint: in addition to Life Sciences & Health Care, these include in particular employment law, corporate law and M&A, commercial law, and litigation.

Together with his team, he supports clients from the initial consultation through to representation before authorities and courts, combining in-depth legal expertise with a practical understanding of business needs. He regularly gives lectures in the field of life sciences and advises national and international companies and associations. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Commission for the Publication of the Austrian Food Codex (Codex Commission) and regularly publishes in national and international journals.
